ANNA C. K., BORN IN 1999
BIOGRAPHY
"As a child I have always loved being creative. Encouraged to be outside I always was in touch with nature. After going through primary school and middle school, high school was where I really began to have a passion for the fine arts.
My high school introduced me to oil painting for the first time as well as gave me the opportunity to study abroad at a younger age. I lived in Aix-en-Provence, France where I soaked up everything that I was exposed to. I built a small portfolio that landed me an arts scholarship at my alma mater, Hobart and William Smith colleges. This is where my professor and mentor, Phillia Yi, introduced me to my favorite media of silk screen printing.
Currently I am working a full time job in STEM and continuing my passion for silk screen when I am not in the lab."
